Eko provides two distinctly separate components for the management of authentication and identity with your SMS solutions.
User authentication is provided by EkoPORTAL and allows administrators to implement login name and password protection for specific services. In addition, added controls can be added which include restricted access using identified mobile telephone numbers that can be associated with specific accounts. This provides an extra layer of security.
Eko also provide additional facilities for organisations to implement portal style access and user profiling using EkoPORTAL. EkoPORTAL enables you to manage user profiles and capture additional data about a user such as first name or last name. In addition, the portal solution enables the user to establish personalised settings that improve the user experience. For example, for a train time-table system, a user may have a preferred train stop to and from work. Eko could allow them to specifiy these in their profile to simplify these types of queries to your data in the future.
