Eko's secure SMS payment solution uses the EkoPAY Advanced Module to manage and process your SMS payment transactions. EkoPAY enables you to receive payments from your customers using a credit card that is approved for use with your existing Credit Card Merchant Account (Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard, American Express and Diners Card).
Using EkoPAY with EkoTRANSACT's built in data capture facilities, your customers can include customised information such as an account and/or bill number, and any additional information that you require to process their transaction. Within seconds of submitting an SMS payment, your customer will receive a reply SMS confirming payment approval/decline along with appropriate receipts for their records. In addition, the funds are credited to your account at the end of the business day.
EkoPAY provides you with comprehensive reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, making the reconciliation of your payments a streamlined process. In addition, EkoPAY can email your accounts department each time a payment has been received, or provide XML data feeds.
EkoPAY is also useful for existing merchants to process credit card payments when there is no physical access to a terminal. By entering a customers credit card details in to their mobile phone for approval, the SMS solution becomes a convenient wireless EFTPOS terminal.

The EkoPAY system architecture provides a fast and secure environment for your transactions to be processed in real-time. The Eko SMS Application Server and EkoPAY Advanced Module both communicate with the SMS Gateway and the EFTPOS Gateway respectively using 128bit encryption (Secure Socket Layer). Higher levels of security are achievable using a VPN or direct connections to each gateway.
The Eko Platform has been developed using open standards enabling deployment on almost any operating environment, from enterprise strength unix operating systems to mid-range windows based systems.
